How to Set Up Custom Units of Measurement

  1. Go to Settings: Head over to the Settings tab and look under Customization. You’ll see a new option: Units of Measurement.

  2. Create or Edit Units

  • If this is your first time, you’ll have the option to create default units of measurement (like EA, FT, and LB).

  • To create a custom unit, just enter a name and abbreviation, easy!

  • Need to make changes? You can edit or delete units at any time. (Just note that units already assigned to materials can’t be deleted.)

Assigning Units to Materials

Once you’ve set up your units, you can start assigning them to your materials.

  1. Add Units to Existing Materials

  • Go to your Catalog and hit on "Edit Material" from the three dots on the right.

  • Replace the measurement unit from the Measurement Unit field

Bulk Edit for Faster Updates

  • For updating multiple materials at once, use Bulk Edit Mode.
