Here are Ply's recommendations for printers/paper for barcoding:
Printers:
- Functional/Desktop: QL-11100nwb - this will allow for you to print 4in+ and is the same as the one you pointed off.
- Field: RJ-4230-x - this is a rugged and laser printer printer. It will let you print up to 4 inches and down to 2 inches,. There is also an RJ-3xxx series that is 3< inches
We use and recommend both of them. If you want us to, we can get both of these through Brother for you! Just let us know.
Paper:
- Our top recommendation is die-cut paper. It streamlines the process of applying numerous labels efficiently. While contentious paper is also viable, die-cut paper is the preferred choice for its ease of use.
- While size preference varies, we've found the 62mx24 paper to be particularly suitable. However, we're equipped to handle any size they offer.
8x11 Option:
- We recommend the Avery 5162 more because it’s larger and easier to reach and fits more content
