- Utilizing manufacturer barcodes where possible: you can add manufacturer barcodes to any material. This helps with not having barcodes printed out and applied everywhere in the truck.
- Creating a material barcode book: we've seen some businesses make a book if items in the truck that can be scanned. Usually, there is only 150-300 items so its not a daunting task to create or maintain and with the new barcodes, you can generate barcodes can be bigger with more information
- Consolidating barcode: if there is an area where there is a lot of barcodes needed you can consolidate them on one section
