Key Features of the Jobber Integration
Materials Sync
Materials (products, not services) from Jobber will automatically sync into the Ply catalog.
Job Sync
Jobs created in Jobber will automatically sync to Ply. This ensures that your jobs are always up-to-date on both platforms, with technicians and job details synced in real time.
User Sync
All Jobber users (technicians) will be automatically synced to Ply once the integration is complete. This makes user management a breeze and helps ensure your team is always aligned across platforms.
Real-Time Data Sync (Webhooks)
Experience near-instant synchronization of data without needing to press a “sync” button. With webhooks, your data will sync automatically in real time, ensuring you always have the latest information at your fingertips.
Job Assignments with Sync
Users assigned to jobs in Jobber will also be assigned to the corresponding jobs in Ply, keeping your team and job management synchronized across both systems.
Kits as Single Line Item
Ability to treat material kits as a single line item in Jobber, simplifying the management and pricing of material kits in your jobs.

Jobber - Set Materials as Expenses
In Jobber, you can choose to set materials as expenses for more accurate financial tracking. This option becomes available once you’ve connected your Jobber account with Ply.
How to enable: Go to Settings > Integrations and select Connect your FSM. After successfully connecting with Jobber, you’ll be able to check the box to mark materials as expenses.
What it does: Once enabled, materials used in jobs can be categorized as expenses, helping you clearly differentiate between materials invoiced to customers and those incurred as costs.
Creating Custom Job Name Templates
You can now create custom job name templates to define how jobs appear in Ply when synced from Jobber.
This allows you to include important job details in the name itself — like the job title, number, client name, status, or address — in whatever order works best for your team.
How to set it up:
Go to FSM Settings (Field Service Management section).
Scroll to Job name template.
Click "Create a template for job’s name".
Use the dropdown to choose which parts you want to include (e.g., Title, Job number, Client name).
Optionally, add a custom label for each part.
You'll see a live preview of what the job name will look like.
⚠️ The order in which you add the parts determines the final name format, so make sure it works for your workflow.
Once saved, all newly synced jobs from Jobber will follow the custom naming convention you set, making them easier to search, organize, and identify across Ply.
