Transfer from Job Status | Jobber Integration

Control exactly when items from Jobber jobs get synced into Ply, based on the job's status in Jobber.

Overview

By default, items are synced into Ply as soon as a job is created in Jobber. The Sync Items Only When Specific Job Status Reached setting lets you delay that sync until the job reaches a specific status you choose giving you more control over when materials show up on the Ply side of things.

How to Configure It

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations in Ply.

  2. Locate the Sync Items Only When Specific Job Status Reached toggle. This is disabled by default.

  3. Switch the toggle to enable it.

  4. Use the Job Status to Sync Items dropdown to select the Jobber status you want to use as the threshold. Available options include:

Job Status

Description

Active

Job is currently active/in progress

Today

Job is scheduled for today

Upcoming

Job is scheduled for a future date

Late

Job is past its scheduled date and not completed

Expiring within 30 days

Job is set to expire within the next 30 days

Unscheduled

Job has not yet been scheduled

On hold

Job is paused/on hold

Action required

Job requires action before proceeding

Click Save Changes.

⚠️ Until a job in Jobber reaches the selected status, its line items and expenses will not sync to the corresponding job in Ply.

Why This Matters

Without this setting, items sync into Ply as soon as a job is created in Jobber even if the job isn't confirmed, scheduled, or ready to move forward. This can lead to premature material deductions or inaccurate job costing.

By selecting a specific status threshold, you ensure materials only sync once the job has reached a stage that makes sense for your workflow (for example, waiting until a job is Active rather than syncing the moment it's created as Unscheduled).
