You don’t always need to scan a barcode to move materials around. Whether you're managing a warehouse, a truck, or a job site, here’s how you can transfer and adjust quantities directly from the app, no scanner required.
ℹ️ When is this useful? Scanning is faster when you have barcodes set up; but these manual flows are essential when labels are missing or damaged, you're working from a desktop, you're doing a bulk update, or you're assigning materials to a job from the office.
Step-by-Step: Transfer Between Locations or Jobs
1. Open Your Warehouse
Head to your Warehouse from the main screen.
Browse through your materials or use the search bar to find what you need (e.g., search “pool”).
2. Select Items to Transfer
Tap and hold (hard press) on the item’s three dots (⋯) to enable multi-select mode.
Select as many materials as you need.
3. Transfer Items
Tap the “Transfer” button at the bottom of the screen.
Choose whether you’re transferring to another location (e.g., a truck) or a job.
4. Set Quantities and Reasons
Input the quantity you’re transferring for each material.
Add a reason for the adjustment — this helps keep your records clean and your reporting accurate.
5. Confirm the Transfer
Review the summary screen.
Tap “Confirm transfer” and then “Transfer” to complete the move.
