Add Serialized Materials to Your Catalog 📦
- Go to the Catalog:
- Navigate to the Catalog section in Ply.
- Create or Open a Material:
- Click the three dots (⋯) next to the material or create a new one.
- Enable Serialization:
- Click Edit and check the box for “Material Serialized”.
- Adjust Serial Numbers to materials in Stock Locations 🏢
- Go to the Stock Location: Navigate to the location (Warehouse/Truck) where the material is stored.
- Locate the material and click the three dots (⋯) > Edit Availability.
- Add or adjust the serial numbers in the inventory.
- Click Save to confirm.
Assign Serialized Materials to a Job 🔄💼
- Go to the Jobs Section:
- Navigate to the Jobs tab and open the desired job.
- Add Items to the Job:
- Click on Add Items within the job.
- Select the Location:
- Choose the location (Warehouse/Truck) where the material is stored.
- Select the Serialized Material:
- Search for the material and select it.
- Confirm the Serial Number:
- Choose the correct serial number associated with that material.
- Save the Changes:
- Click Save to confirm the addition of the serialized item to the job.
Now, the material with the specific serial number is associated with the job and ready to be tracked
