Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect your Ply account. By requiring a second verification step when logging in, MFA helps keep your business and customer data safeโeven if a password is compromised.
๐จ Why enable MFA?
- Enhanced Security: Even if your password is leaked, your account remains protected unless the second verification code is also entered.
- Prevents Unauthorized Access: Drastically reduces the risk of phishing and credential stuffing attacks.
- Compliance & Peace of Mind: Helps enforce security best practices across your team.
๐งโ๐ผ How to Enable MFA (Admin or Owner)
- Go to Settings > Manage Profile > Security

ย
- Under Multi-Factor Authentication, click Enable MFA

ย
- Follow the steps to connect an Authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy):
- Download and open the app
- Scan the QR code shown on screen
- Enter the 6-digit code generated

ย
- Save your recovery codes in a secure location
- Confirm that you've saved the codes and finish setup
Once complete, you'll see that MFA is active on your profile.
