Housecall Pro recently introduced a parent / child account structure under a corporate (hub) account. If your business uses this setup, it’s important to understand how the Ply + Housecall Pro integration works and what’s currently supported.
What’s supported today
Ply supports a 1:1 integration with Housecall Pro:
- One Ply account can connect to one Housecall Pro account
- That account can be either: the parent (corporate) account, or a single child account
- Ply does not support connecting one Ply account to multiple Housecall Pro accounts at the same time
This limitation is enforced on both the Ply and Housecall Pro sides.
How the connection works
When you connect Housecall Pro to Ply, the integration links to the Housecall Pro account you are logged into at the moment you connect.
That means the account you’re signed into in Housecall Pro determines which account Ply connects to.
How to connect a child account
If you want Ply to connect to a child account (instead of the parent account), follow these steps carefully:
- Log out of Housecall Pro completely
- Log back in using the child account’s own login credentials (not the parent account)
- Go back to Ply and run the Housecall Pro integration
Once connected, Ply will sync data from that child account only.
If Ply keeps connecting to the parent account
In some cases, Ply may continue connecting to the parent account even after logging into the child account. This is usually caused by cached browser data.
To fix this, try one of the following:
- Use a different browser
- Clear your browser cache and cookies, then reconnect
After that, repeat the connection steps above.
