How It Works
When you click Enhance on a material, Ply searches online sources and its own database to find closely matching material details so you can review it before deciding whether to apply it.
How to Use It - Step by Step
Step 1: Enable It in Labs
Settings > Labs > Activate the Enhance Material toggle.
Step 2: Use It on a Material
1. Go to your catalog and select a material.
2. Inside the material details page, click Enhance (upper-right corner).
3. If the material hasn't been enhanced yet, Ply queues the enrichment, this takes a few seconds while it searches different sources and Ply's database for suggestions.
4. Review the suggestions. Each one shows a confidence score.
5. Click Use to accept a suggestion or Dismiss to skip it.
6. Click Save to update the material with the attributes you chose.
Good to Know
24-hour limit: each material can only be enhanced once every 24 hours. If it was already enhanced today, the button will show that instead of running again.
One material at a time: mass/bulk enhancement is not available yet.
