Navigating the SureStock Dashboard

Once you've saved a preset, you won't need to set it up again, simply select it from the preset menu next time you log in.

✅ Build a preset for each role that uses the Dashboard differently.

An owner or accountant typically cares about different widgets than a warehouse manager, save a separate preset for each rather than trying to fit everyone's needs into one layout.

✅ Check the widget library before assuming something doesn't exist.

Not every metric you might want is obvious from the default layout, browse the available widgets in Edit Dashboard before concluding you need a workaround or a feature request.

✅ If a widget you need doesn't exist yet, ask support about an interim report before waiting on a feature request.

As shown below, our team can often set up a recurring manual report to cover the gap while a longer-term widget is being considered.

"I want to see the total dollar value of inventory broken down by location, but there's no widget for that."

This isn't currently available as a Dashboard widget , it's been logged as a feature request. In a real case we handled, the interim solution was a recurring report: our team pulled the balance (location name, dollar value, and material quantity) into a spreadsheet and sent it on a set day each week while the widget request was being considered. "I customized my Dashboard, but I don't want to lose the old layout."

Save your current setup as a preset before making changes, presets don't overwrite each other, so you can switch between multiple saved layouts without losing any of them.

"Different people on my team want different Dashboard layouts, but I'm the one setting it up."

Each user can typically customize and save their own presets independently. This isn't a single account-wide layout. If your team is seeing the same dashboard regardless of who's logged in, reach out to support to confirm your account's setup.

Is there a report that shows inventory value by location today, even without a dedicated widget?

Check SureStock Reports, Location Comparison, and Inventory Usage, which may cover part of what you need, though neither is a direct dollar-value-by-location breakdown today.

Can I have more than one saved preset?

Yes, save as many as you need and switch between them from the preset menu.
