With this update, you can now duplicate tools directly from your inventory. This makes it faster to create new tool records without having to re-enter all the details manually.
How to duplicate a tool
Go to Catalog > Tools.
2. Open the tool you want to duplicate.
3. Click on the three dots on the right, and select “Copy Unit”
4. Ply will create a new tool record with all the same information (name, description, cost, supplier, etc.).
5. Update any details you need (e.g., barcode, serial number).
Why it’s useful
Saves time when you need to create multiple tools that are very similar.
Helps keep your catalog consistent by copying existing tool details.
Reduces data entry errors since you don’t need to start from scratch.
