📚 What Is the Ply Library?
The Ply Library is a dedicated section in Ply that displays Ferguson’s material catalog. It’s updated daily with the latest product details and cost information, giving your team a reliable and real-time way to:
Browse materials directly from Ferguson’s catalog
View product costs based on your company’s Ferguson account
Add Ferguson materials directly into your Ply Catalog
It’s like having a live Ferguson storefront built into Ply.
📌Don't see the Ferguson tab?
The Ferguson Library only appears if your Ply account has been connected to a Ferguson account during the pilot setup. Contact your Customer Success Manager or [email protected] to get connected.
🔍 How to Access the Ferguson Library
To find it:
Go to the Catalog tab
Click the dropdown arrow and select Ply Library
Inside the library, click the tab labeled "Ferguson."
You can now search, filter, and explore Ferguson's live material list.
🌍 Region-Specific Pricing
Each business has its own region-based pricing tied to its Ferguson account. That means:
You’ll see prices specific to your company and location
Other companies may see different pricing for the same items
All pricing is synced automatically from Ferguson daily.
No more guesswork; what you see in Ply matches what you’d get directly from Ferguson.
Every price in the Ply Library is personalized. Ferguson pricing varies by account, region, and contract — two companies using the same item may see completely different prices. What you see in Ply is your price.

⚠️Always verify your account context before browsing
In the Library, click the Account tab and confirm your region, branch, and contract are set to the right context. If the wrong branch is selected, the prices you see — and the prices on your PO — may not match your agreement.
📥 Add Ferguson Materials to Your Catalog
Found what you need? Here's how to add it to your Ply catalog:
Select the material(s) from the Ferguson Library
Click Add to Draft List
Go back to the Catalog tab and click the dropdown
Select Draft List
From there, you can:
Select items and click Import to Catalog to add them
Or click Delete to remove items you no longer need
This gives you full control to build your catalog with only the materials you want.
💡 The Draft List is non-destructive
Items you add to the Draft List stay there until you import or delete them. Nothing is ordered and no changes are made to your catalog until you click Import to Catalog. Use it to collect multiple items across a browsing session before committing.
💰 Real-Time Pricing Updates
The best part? You’ll always see the latest pricing based on your Ferguson account. Every day, Ply pulls in:
Updated product costs
New or discontinued materials
Any changes to product descriptions or SKUs
Your team always has the most accurate info when ordering or quoting.

Once a Ferguson item is in your catalog, it works just like any other:
Add it to a Purchase Order to reorder from Ferguson
Include it in a Field Request for techs in the field
Track usage and pricing right from your Ply workspace
