The Ply Library is a dedicated section in Ply that displays Fergusonās material catalog. Itās updated daily with the latest product details and cost information, giving your team a reliable and real-time way to:
Browse materials directly from Fergusonās catalog
View product costs based on your companyās Ferguson account
Add Ferguson materials directly into your Ply Catalog
Itās like having a live Ferguson storefront built into Ply.

The Ferguson catalog only appears if your Ply account has been connected to a Ferguson account. Contact your customer success manager or [email protected] to get connected.
ā”ļø How to Access the Ferguson Library
You can get to the Ferguson catalog two ways:
Go to Catalog and open the Supplier Catalogs tab.
Click the Ferguson Inc card to open Fergusonās catalog.
You can also click Ply Library in the sidebar, which takes you to the same supplier catalogs.
From there you can search, filter, and explore Fergusonās live material list.
ā”ļø Region-Specific Pricing
Each business has its own region-based pricing tied to its Ferguson account. That means:
Youāll see prices specific to your company and location
Other companies may see different pricing for the same items
All pricing is synced automatically from Ferguson daily.
No more guesswork; what you see in Ply matches what youād get directly from Ferguson.
Every price in the Ply Library is personalized. Ferguson pricing varies by account, region, and contract ā two companies using the same item may see completely different prices. What you see in Ply is your price.

ā ļø Always verify your account context before browsing.
In the Library, click the Account tab and confirm your region, branch, and contract are set to the right context. If the wrong branch is selected, the prices you see, and the prices on your PO, may not match your agreement.
ā”ļøAdd Ferguson Materials to Your Catalog
Found what you need? Here's how to add it to your Ply catalog:
Select the material(s) from the Ferguson Library
Click Add to Draft List
Go back to the Catalog tab and click the dropdown
Select Draft List
From there, you can:
Select items and click Import to Catalog to add them
Or click Delete to remove items you no longer need
This gives you full control to build your catalog with only the materials you want.
š” The Draft List is non-destructive
Items you add to the Draft List stay there until you import or delete them. Nothing is ordered and no changes are made to your catalog until you click Import to Catalog. Use it to collect multiple items across a browsing session before committing.
ā”ļø Real-Time Pricing Updates
The best part? Youāll always see the latest pricing based on your Ferguson account. Every day, Ply pulls in:
Updated product costs
New or discontinued materials
Any changes to product descriptions or SKUs
Your team always has the most accurate info when ordering or quoting.
ā”ļø Seeing Ferguson pricing for a material in your catalog
Live Ferguson pricing lives in the Ply Library, not in your catalog. In your catalog, the Prices & Suppliers tab shows what youāve actually paid (Average paid over the last 12 months and your Last purchase price). To check Fergusonās current price for a material:
Open the material in your Catalog and go to the Prices & Suppliers tab
On the Ferguson Inc row, click View catalog.
The item opens in the Ply Library on Suppliers & Prices, showing only Fergusonās pricing.
The view stays filtered to Ferguson even if you switch tabs. Click Change supplier if you want to see another supplierās pricing for that item.
Opening an item directly from the Library? If you open an item from the Library instead of from your material, Ply asks you which supplierās pricing you want to see. Just pick the supplier from the list.
Material not linked to Ferguson? View catalog opens Fergusonās catalog with the material name already searched, instead of the item. See How to get additional materials linked to Ferguson to get it linked.

Once a Ferguson item is in your catalog, it works just like any other:
Add it to a Purchase Order to reorder from Ferguson
Include it in a Field Request for techs in the field

ā Confirm all your job accounts are enabled with your Ferguson rep before going live.
If a job/account you expect to see is missing from the library's account selector, it's usually because that specific job account hasn't been flagged as active on Ferguson's side yet; see Common issues & fixes below.
ā Double-check your Account tab context every time you switch jobs or branches, not just once at setup, pricing and availability depend on it every time you browse.
ā Use Add Custom Material sparingly if a match exists in the Library.
Searching the Library first (instead of creating a custom line item) means you get live Ferguson pricing and SKU matching automatically, rather than a manual entry that won't be linked, see How to get additional materials linked to Ferguson if a material seems to be missing from the Library even though Ferguson carries it.
ā”ļø Common issues & fixes
"I'm missing a job account in the Ferguson integration, it's not showing up as an option in Ply."
This usually isn't a Ply-side bug; it typically means that specific job account hasn't been flagged/enabled on Ferguson's side yet for the integration. This has come up in real cases: our support team reaches out directly to Ferguson's integration contact (their Rapid Response Team) to get the missing job account flagged, and once Ferguson confirms it's enabled, it shows up correctly in Ply. If you're missing a job account, contact support with the account/job name and we'll coordinate with Ferguson to get it added.
āI donāt see the Ferguson price in my catalog anymore.ā
Thatās expected. Your catalog now shows what youāve paid (Average paid and Last purchase price) instead of live supplier pricing. To see Fergusonās current price, open the material, go to Prices & Suppliers and click View catalog on the Ferguson row.
"The prices I'm seeing in the Library don't match what I expect from my contract." Double-check the Account tab context (region, branch, contract) before assuming something's wrong, the most common cause is browsing under the wrong branch or account, not a pricing sync issue. If your context is correct and the pricing still looks off, reach out to support with the specific material and expected price.
"I added items to my Draft List but haven't imported them yet, are they safe?"
Yes, the Draft List is non-destructive. Nothing is ordered or added to your catalog until you explicitly click Import to Catalog. Items can sit there indefinitely.
