Kits let you bundle multiple materials into a single package for easier handling, ordering, and distribution. For example, a kit might include all the parts needed for a specific installation, or a set of tools that always go out together.
How to Create a Kit
Go to Your Catalog
Select the Materials You Want to Bundle
Create Your Kit
You can also create a Kit by selecting “Add Item” > “Add Kit.”
When creating a Kit, you can also add tools to it. This is helpful if you need to take a Kit to a job along with the tools you’ll need, such as a ladder, screwdrivers, or gloves.
With Kits, you can:
Transfer the entire Kit to a Job or another location
Create a PO
Create a Pick List
Print your Kit’s barcode
You can also select individual items from the Kit to create a PO or transfer them to a Job or another location.
To keep in mind:
Kits have their own details page Just like individual materials, each Kit has its own page where you can check associated materials, quantities, and assigned locations, all in one place.
You can create Kits even with zero stock No inventory yet? No problem. You can set up Kits with materials that have zero stock, so you can preconfigure your standard bundles and restock them later.
Disabled materials are also disabled in Kits When a material is disabled in the catalog, it will also be disabled in any Kit it belongs to. This keeps everything consistent and ensures you're only working with active materials.
Deleted materials are removed from Kits automatically If a material is deleted from the catalog, it will be automatically removed from any Kit that included it — keeping your Kits clean and up to date.
