Instead of deleting materials you no longer need, we recommend deactivating them. This keeps your catalog clean while preserving the material's history and ensuring full traceability, you can always bring it back if you need it later.
How to Deactivate a Material
Go to Catalog and open the material you want to deactivate
Click on the Stock tab
Toggle the button on the right to deactivate it
How to Reactivate a Material
To bring a material back, just follow the same steps and toggle the button back on.
Why Deactivate Instead of Delete?
Deleting a material is permanent. Deactivating it means you can:
Keep a record of past usage and purchases tied to that material
Restore it at any time without losing any historical data
Avoid accidentally removing something that might still be referenced in old jobs or POs
