Materials don't return automatically. Go to the closed job → Materials tab and check if any items still show there.
If they do, you need to manually select them and transfer them to a stock location.

Step by Step on How to Transfer materials back from Jobs to Stock:
Open the job.
Select the materials you want to transfer.
Hit on Transfer.
Set the quantity, the location, and save the changes.
After that, you're all set.
