The Ply Materials Library is your central hub for supplier catalogs and Ply-groomed material data. It helps your team quickly access accurate, up-to-date product information and easily build or enhance your own catalog.
Whether you're in the office or the field, the Materials Library ensures your catalog is always synced with the latest supplier data—making it easier to find the right materials, reduce purchasing errors, and streamline operations.
🔍 What You Can Do with the Ply Materials Library
Here’s what the Materials Library allows you to do:
- Explore curated supplier catalogs with material names, item numbers, photos, UPC codes, and more.
- Search and filter materials by item number, supplier, catalog, tag, location, and other attributes.
- Create and manage draft lists of materials before importing.
- Customize materials with tags, replenishment settings, and min/max values.
- Import materials directly into your company's Ply catalog.
🧭 Navigating the Ply Library
- Go to the Catalog tab in the navigation bar.
- Click on the “Ply Library” tab.
- Browse materials by category or use the search bar in the upper right to locate specific items.
📝 Creating and Managing a Draft List
- Select the materials you want to add.
- Click “Add to draft list”.
- Choose the appropriate material variations (if applicable).
- Click “Draft List” to view and manage your selections.
📥 Importing Materials into Your Catalog
- Once you’re satisfied with your draft list, click “Import to Catalog”.
- Choose the location where you want the materials to be added.
- Customize attributes like:
- Replenishment settings
- Min and Max stock levels
- Tags
- Click “Import to My Catalog”, once completed, your list will be cleared and the items will appear in your catalog.
💡 Pro Tips
- The Library may contain large quantities of data, but you can easily refine your search with filters and tags.
- Items are enriched with supplier-specific data so you can compare pricing and availability.
