Breaking Down Your SureStock Catalog Export by Location

Export your full catalog from SureStock and organize it by location using a spreadsheet, helpful for reviewing inventory by warehouse, sharing clean data with your team, or building custom reports.

➡️ Step 1: Export Your Catalog from SureStock

Start by exporting your full catalog from SureStock.

  1. Log into SureStock.

  2. Go to Catalog.

  3. Click on the three dots and select Bulk Upload to download your catalog file.

  4. Go to the existing option.

➡️ Step 2: Separate Materials by Location

Once you have the exported file (usually Excel or CSV), you can break it out by location.

Here's how:

  1. Open the exported file.

  2. Turn on filters for the header row.

  3. Use the Location column to filter by a specific location.

  4. Copy the materials for that location.

  5. Paste them into a new sheet within the same file.

  6. Repeat this process, creating one sheet per location.

➡️ Step 3: Build a Final Summary (Optional)

If you'd like a high-level overview, you can add one last sheet that summarizes totals by location.

This summary might include:

  • Total materials per location

  • Aggregated quantities

  • Easy comparisons between warehouses

This step is optional and only recommended if you need a consolidated view.

➡️ Common Issues

"My Location column has too many different values to filter cleanly."
This can happen if you have many warehouses or trucks. Sort the Location column alphabetically first, it'll be easier to spot and group related locations before filtering.

"I don't see a Location column in my export."
Double-check that you downloaded the file through Catalog > three dots > Bulk Upload > existing option, not a different export flow. If it's still missing, contact Support.

"This is a lot of manual work every time I need this."
For a recurring need, consider setting a regular cadence (weekly/monthly) and saving your filtered template so you're just refreshing the data each time instead of rebuilding it from scratch.

➡️ FAQs

Is the final summary sheet required?
No, it's optional, only build it if you need a consolidated, high-level view across all your locations.

Can I automate this instead of doing it manually each time?
Not currently, this is a manual spreadsheet workaround. If you need this regularly and want to explore other options, reach out to Support.
