Standard Workflow to Set Up / Connect a Printer

Step by step:

  1. Pair at the System Level: Ensure your printer (e.g., Brother QL or PT series) is turned on and paired to your mobile device's Bluetooth or connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

  2. Open Any Material: Navigate to your Catalog and select **any material** (it can be a temporary or dummy item).

  3. Open Printer Settings: Tap the **Printer icon (**🖨️**)** in the top right corner of the material edit view.

  4. Configure Printer & Paper Size:
    ​

    • Switch the menu from Content to Printer.

    • Select your printer model from the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi list.

    • Set your installed Label Size.
      ​

  5. Save: Tap Save.
    ​

Once saved, the app remembers this printer and paper configuration for subsequent material label prints.

Workaround

If you want to configure or test a printer before organizing your real inventory, create a single "Test" or "Placeholder" material in your catalog. Open that item to complete the printer setup and run a test print, then delete or archive the placeholder item once configured.
