Overview
If you see the alert "Required property is missing: GL accounts" next to a material in Ply, it means that material hasn't synced to ServiceTitan (ST) yet. ServiceTitan requires GL account mapping (Income, Asset, and Expense accounts) before it will allow a material to be created on its end. Until this mapping is set up, the material will show a sync error and won't be usable in ST.
How to Fix It
Go to Settings → Workspace → Integrations → Field Service Management (FSM).
Under ServiceTitan Settings, locate the GL account mapping fields.
Map each of the following:
Save your settings.
Once the mapping is saved, go to your Catalog section and push the sync process by clicking the "ServiceTitan" button. This manually triggers the sync so the affected materials are sent over right away.
Why This Matters
ServiceTitan requires GL account information as part of its own material creation process. Without it, Ply can't complete the sync on ST's side, which means the material stays in an error state and any related job costing or invoicing tied to that material won't be accurate in ServiceTitan.
