Cause:
This error occurs when the HCP-Ply integration was originally connected using the credentials of a Housecall Pro user who has since been deactivated. Since the connection's access token is tied to that user's account, once the user is deactivated, the token stops working, blocking Ply from writing or syncing product data to HCP.
⚠️ This surfaces as a permissions error, even though the issue isn't related to your role or permissions in Ply or HCP.
How to Fix It?
Reconnect the HCP Integration
To resolve the issue, you'll need to reset the integration so it generates a new access token tied to an active HCP user:
Go to Settings → Workspace → Integrations
Click the three dots (⋯) next to the Connected button
Select Reset integration
Complete the authorization flow using an active Housecall Pro user account
