Browsing Ferguson's Catalog with Ply Library

Selected items are added to a Draft List, where you can review everything before confirming which materials to add to your catalog.

This is useful when you want to proactively add materials you anticipate needing, or when you want to reference Ferguson pricing before placing an order.

✅ Verify your Account context (region, branch, contract) before browsing. Ferguson pricing and availability vary by branch and contract — if the wrong one is selected, the prices you see (and the prices on any resulting PO) may not match your actual agreement.

✅ Use the Draft List to browse freely without committing to anything. Items added to the Draft List don't affect your catalog until you explicitly confirm, this makes it safe to collect multiple items across a browsing session, including ones you're only considering.

✅ If a job/account you expect to see is missing, check with Ferguson before assuming it's a Ply issue.

A missing job account almost always means it hasn't been flagged as active on Ferguson's side yet; see Common issues & fixes below.

"A job account I expect to have access to isn't showing up when I try to browse the Ferguson catalog."

This is usually not a SureStock-side bug; it typically means that specific job account hasn't been flagged/enabled on Ferguson's side yet for the integration. In real cases, our support team has had to reach out directly to Ferguson's integration contact to get a missing job account flagged before it appeared correctly. If you're missing a job account, contact support with the account/job name and we'll coordinate with Ferguson to get it added.

"The prices I'm seeing while browsing don't match what I expect from my contract."

Double-check your Account context (region, branch, contract) before assuming something's wrong with pricing; browsing under the wrong branch or account is the most common cause, not a sync issue. If your context is correct and pricing still looks off, reach out to support with the specific material and expected price.

"I added items to my Draft List but haven't decided whether to add them to my catalog yet, is that a problem?"

No, the Draft List is nondestructive. Nothing is added to your catalog or ordered until you explicitly confirm. Items can sit there as long as you need while you decide.

Do I need a Ferguson account to use this?

Yes, the Ply Library is tied to your company's Ferguson account and reflects your account-specific pricing and catalog access.

Can I browse materials without adding them to my catalog?

Yes, browsing and adding to the Draft List doesn't commit anything. You choose which items to actually import into your catalog.

Does pricing shown here update automatically?

Yes, pricing reflects your current Ferguson account agreement and is refreshed regularly through the integration.
