The updated QuickBooks Online (QBO) integration in Ply is designed to streamline your workflow by syncing items, suppliers, and purchase orders between both systems. This helps eliminate manual entry and reduce the chances of errors.
Here’s what you can do with the integration:
Connect QuickBooks Online to Ply
Go to Settings > Integrations.
Under Accounting Software, click Connect Now (or Reauthorize if you’ve connected before).
You’ll be redirected to the QuickBooks App Store. Select your QBO company and authorize access.
Once connected, you’ll see accounting settings available in Ply.
Set a default warehouse for synced items
Choose whether or not to sync quantity data to a specific warehouse.
🛒 Syncing Purchase Orders
Create a new PO in Ply by clicking Create > Purchase Order.
Select your supplier, job, and ship-to location.
Add required items and quantities, then click Create & Send.
Within a few seconds, the PO will appear in QuickBooks > Vendors.
📦 Syncing Items & Suppliers
Items created in QuickBooks will sync to your Ply Catalog.
Supplier records in QBO will also sync with Ply automatically.
If you edit a product name in QBO, that change will sync to Ply in real time.
Synced items are marked with a QuickBooks logo inside Ply.
