Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect your Ply account. By requiring a second verification step when logging in, MFA helps keep your business and customer data safe—even if a password is compromised.
Why enable MFA?
Enhanced Security: Even if your password is leaked, your account remains protected unless the second verification code is also entered.
Prevents Unauthorized Access: Drastically reduces the risk of phishing and credential stuffing attacks.
Compliance & Peace of Mind: Helps enforce security best practices across your team.
How to Enable MFA (Admin or Owner)
Go to Settings > Manage Profile > Security
Under Multi-Factor Authentication, click Enable MFA
Follow the steps to connect an Authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy):
Download and open the app
Scan the QR code shown on screen
Save your recovery codes in a secure location
Confirm that you've saved the codes and finish setup
Once complete, you'll see that MFA is active on your profile.
Managing MFA Across Your Team
As an admin, go to Settings > Manage Users to see who has MFA enabled:
You’ll see a new MFA column with a ✅ or ❌
