It's not specifically about the device model but rather the operating system version. 📱 To use Ply, your iPhone must be running iOS 16.0 or later.
Unfortunately, the first-generation iPhone SE does not support iOS 16. However, both the second and third-generation iPhone SE models are fully compatible.

To run the Ply Inventory app on iOS, your device must be running iOS 16.0 or later.
The minimum supported model is the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or iPhone X. Older devices, like the iPhone 7, iPhone 6s, or original SE max out at iOS 15 and cannot install the app.
While the app will technically launch on an iPhone 8 or X, using a newer model significantly improves the workflow.
Recommended minimum: iPhone 11 or newer
Camera Performance: Newer iPhone cameras feature faster autofocus and better low-light performance, making barcode scanning in dark warehouse aisles or tight jobsites much faster.
Battery Life: Scanning and running screen-on tasks for inventory counts drains older batteries rapidly.
